Zero is NOT a size.

18 Sep

Recently, I noticed mark@248am had blogged about 10 Fattest Countries in the world re: Girls.

Well, here’s what I’ve got to say to ALL of you. Ladies and Gents.

I’m sick and tired of people going on about wanting to be a size 0, a size 2, a size 4, a size 6.

We are ALL different shapes and sizes. AND No, I’m not FAT. I’m not jealous. I just don’t want to ever be smaller than a size 12. Curves are sexy. Big Bums are sexy. Big breasts well, those are annoying BUT…my point is, stop f^&*ing moaning at us about our weight.

Curves don’t equal fat, truth be told, many girls in this day and age are scarily thin and end up with anorexia. If all we have to worry about is a little extra meat well, we should be proud of ourselves.

As for you, MEN, the majority of you may watch your weight, may take pride in your appearance but truth be told, most of you are Jerks and it isn’t your wives that you do it for. Yes, that’s right, I said it.

It’ s very, very hard being a mother, a wife, a daughter and the person that we are expected to be by our partners/husbands/boyfriends. We may not live up to your expectations but do you ever think, you definitely don’t live up to ours??

Ladies do NOT have it easy.

We have to put up with double emails, two phones, calls in the night, un-named names in mobiles……….sound familiar girls? Yes, we have ALOT to put up with ……SO, if we feel like gaining a few pounds and eating a bar of chocolate, leave us the hell alone. We deserve it.

We don’t want to be like this………….

Marilyn Monroe was a size 16 and she was gorgeous!

Please note, the above model is Brazilian Fluvian who is a plus-size model size 16/18 for Elle, isn’t she gorgeous?

So ladies, no matter what anyone thinks of you, PLEASE know that you ARE beautiful.

It just takes one thing to make you a fighter.

This post is DEDICATED TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. You know who you are.

I love you. No matter what anyone else thinks.

So true. Coming from a family in which my two cousins (they’re siblings, the children of my father’s brother who married my mom’s sister) both have anorexia, talking about weight is a really touchy topic. By the same token, my parents are both quite overweight, so trying to find a healthy balance between the two extremes is tough. Throw the fact that my dad and his brother are Brazilian into the mix, and we have an extreme fixation on appearance alone. Yikes!

Thank you so much for your post!

You are more than welcome! I am glad you enjoyed it!
Sorry to hear about your cousins, it is a terrible illness one caused by peers and the media…
Hopefully in time this will all change!
Plus models are starting to make a difference! Thank god!
