Chilly nights

13 Nov

The nights are getting colder, that’s why it’s so important to warm yourself up before you go to bed! You don’t want to be catching cold when that duvet falls off or when your husband pulls it off you (which is what happens to me).

So, what better way to warm up than with a Spiced Hot Chocolate!

Here’s what you will need!

  • 4 cups prepared hot cocoa with 1% milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 cinnamon sticks

It’s so easy…just combine the cocoa, nutmeg and chilli powder. Pour into mugs and serve with a cinnamon stick!

And. for those TryingtobeFahad here’s your calorie count

Per serving: 175 calories; 4 g fat (2 g sat, 1 g mono); 12 mg cholesterol; 30 g carbohydrates; 8 g protein; 1 g fiber; 161 mg sodium; 487 mg potassium.

And mums, this is GREAT for your wee ones!! My mum used to give me half a cup every night and I slept like a baby… right into my teenage years!
