Japan clamps down on fat people

28 Sep

I’m not going to comment on this …ok, I am. WHAT THE FUCK?

Japan have now made it ‘illegal’ according to National Guidelines to have a waistline of more than 33”

see for yourself 🙂

I can totally understand why a government would try to make a healthier nation… but isn’t this taking things a little too far?

We’re about to crash…

British Airways tailfin

OMG, I just read this in the news…
About 275 passengers were on the London Heathrow to Hong Kong flight on Tuesday evening when the automated message went out, ‘We’re about to crash’. The plane was flying over the North Sea at the time.

Cabin crew quickly realised the error and moved to reassure the terrified passengers.

How awful! God, I’m so glad I wasn’t on that plane. I hate flying. I think I would have had a heart attack.

“We apologise to passengers on board the flight for causing them undue distress,” he added in a statement.

Undue Distress – is that what you call it?
Jeekers oh, someone could have died…then what… ‘I’m sorry for causing your death.’

Trying to be Fahad!

31 Aug

Goodbye, Burgers and Fries...

Yay! finally, I’ve decide to try and be like Fahad…..

No more junk food.

No more fizzy pop.

No more candy.

Just plain,  good, healthy food…….

This is my aim……………ready…………………………………………

it’s a throw up between …

Her, yes, Miss Eva Longoria

Truely, I believe they are the two most beautiful women in this world and I DO ENVY THEM.

In all seriousness, today is a new day, a new beginning, two years ago, I was stunningly beautiful, not being vain but I was.. sometime ago, I let myself ‘slip’, perhaps, I got comfortable with married life, my kids, my job… I forgot, as a woman, it is important to take care of ourselves. Not for our husbands, for ourselves.

Once you feel miserable, that’s when you realise…time for a change.

Anyone out there who feels, ‘I can’t do it’. YOU CAN.

Let’s hope ‘Trying to be like Fahad’ works 🙂

Wish me luck!

Nails quevaal

AOL is reporting that a 50-year-old Sri Lankan woman who worked as a maid for a large family in Saudi Arabia for five months was allegedly tortured by some of the family members hammering nails into her body.

The woman, who flew back to Colombo, Sri Lanka, from Riyadh on Saturday night, was brought to the hospital by her concerned children Monday. X-rays showed there were 23 nails embedded in her body.

“Some of the nails were 2 inches long,” Dr. Prabath Gajadeera of Kamburupitiya Base Hospital told AOL News today. “Most of the nails were embedded in her arms and legs. She didn’t even realize how many were in there.”

How on earth can that happen?
